Inspection and Maintenance of Potable Water Systems
Solomon Diving strictly observes and adheres to AWWA standards regarding potable water dives and disinfection processes. For potable water jobs, our team uses a modified version of our pumping system to avoid submerging our hydraulic pumping gear in a drinking water supply. We also user vulcanized rubber suits, helmets mated directly to the suits, as well as rubber gloves mated directly to the suits to maintain a contaminate-free water supply while conducting critical maintenance. Zebra Mussel Mitigation
Solomon Diving has deep experience working with municipal water plants to mitigate the crippling effects of Zebra Mussel infestation. Zebra Mussels present complex problems that defeat one-size-fits-all mitigation techniques. Our team has developed proprietary equipment and protocols to cost-effectively clean water plants and adjacent systems, as well as industrial water users.
